Remote Online Notarization (RON)

$50 per signatory for authentication projects

Our Remote Online Notarization (RON) service allows eligible documents to be notarized through a secure online session, subject to applicable state laws and service requirements. It is a convenient option for customers who need notarization as part of an apostille or document legalization order.

Signers may be able to complete the notarization remotely, including from outside the United States, when permitted by the applicable rules. A valid government-issued photo ID and a scheduled online session are generally required. Please allow approximately 15 minutes for the session, although additional time may be needed.

Documents Commonly Submitted for Remote Online Notarization

  • Affidavits and sworn statements
  • Powers of attorney
  • Authorization letters
  • Other eligible documents requiring notarization

How to Add RON to Your Apostille Order

If your document requires notarization before it can proceed through the applicable authentication process, select Remote Online Notarization when placing your apostille order. After checkout, you will receive an email with instructions for scheduling your online signing session.

Once notarization is completed, your document will proceed to the next applicable processing stage. Shipping and completion times depend on document eligibility, authentication requirements, and processing conditions.

Proper notarization is an important step for documents that require notarization before authentication. However, requirements vary by document and jurisdiction, so confirm the applicable requirements before ordering.

Need notarization without an apostille?

If you only need remote online notarization for a document intended for use in the United States, and no apostille is required, you can place a standalone RON order here:

  • Diplomas and academic transcripts
  • Court documents and legal records
  • Corporate and business documents
  • Personal and administrative records

Sworn Translation Services

$75 per page

Some countries and official institutions require sworn translation services for documents submitted for legal, administrative, immigration, or civil registry purposes.

A sworn translation is prepared by a translator authorized to provide this type of translation under the applicable jurisdiction’s rules. The specific requirements depend on the destination country and the authority receiving the document.

When Might You Need a Sworn Translation?

Sworn translations may be required for:

  • Immigration and residency applications
  • Foreign court filings and legal proceedings
  • Civil registry submissions
  • Academic and official records
  • Documents intended for use in Spain and other jurisdictions requiring sworn translations

Certified Translation vs. Sworn Translation

A certified translation generally includes a statement confirming the accuracy and completeness of the translation. A sworn translation involves a translator who is authorized to provide sworn translations under the relevant legal framework.

These services are not interchangeable in every country. Confirm which translation type is required before placing your order.
